Job Description:
Department : Production
Location : Chandigarh
Profile requirement :
- Vendor and Third-Party Manufacturer Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) for pharmaceutical production.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party manufacturers to ensure strategic partnerships.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of CMOs using KPIs like quality, cost, delivery timelines, and compliance.
- Cost Management and Negotiation:
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs) with suppliers and CMOs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality and compliance.
- Conduct regular market analysis to benchmark prices and identify alternative suppliers.
- Compliance and Regulatory Management:
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with GMP, GDP, and local/global regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with QA and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure materials meet quality specifications and regulatory guidelines.
- Facilitate audits of suppliers and CMOs and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Supply Plan Generation and Maintenance:
- Create a product level framework of supply plan including stock cover, future purchase orders, delivery information etc.
- Continuous evaluation for future supply with respect to changes in the market place.
- Respond to new bids with lead time and resolve bottlenecks in new business opportunity.
- Continuous evaluation of stocks for obsolescence, short-dating, quality issues etc.
