The combination provides a synergistic effect: the keratolytic agents (urea, lactic acid, and salicylic acid) remove the thickened, scaly layer of skin, allowing the anti-inflammatory corticosteroid (beclomethasone) to penetrate better and work more effectively to reduce the inflammation and itching.
