Ind-Swift Laboratories Ltd. successfully organized a Public Awareness initiative on 23/08/2025, wherein young girls from Govt. High School, Govindpur, Meerut were educated about Menstrual Hygiene and best practices to incorporate in their daily lifestyle during menses by Dr. Priyanka Garg, a leading Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Meerut.
During her engagement with the young minds, she elaborated on the common myths, taboos, and hesitation associated with this natural cycle of menstruation, in line with the designated theme of the event: “Sankoch Se Samvad Tak.” The doctor also educated the girls about dietary, sanitary, and lifestyle modifications that young girls should adopt to better cope with these few difficult days each month.
The next phase of the session was carried forward by the Hon. Principal of the school, Mrs. Rekha Yadav, who encouraged the young girls to view menstruation as a natural process and to talk freely about it with their parents and teachers without hesitation or shame. She concluded by sharing a vote of thanks for the presence of the guest doctor and the noble initiative by Ind-Swift Laboratories Ltd.
The event concluded on a very positive note, with loud applause from the young participants and a renewed promise by Ind-Swift Laboratories Ltd. to continue their noble efforts to spread awareness and dispel myths around menstrual hygiene.
