Founded in 1986 by the Jains, Mehtas, and Munjals; incorporated in 1995, listed via IPO in 1997, first manufacturing facility commissioned in Derabassi, Punjab in 1998. In 2024, the company transferred its API & CRAMS businesses to Synthimed Pvt. Ltd. to focus on a formulations-led model. In August 2025, Ind-Swift Limited merged into Ind-Swift Laboratories Limited to consolidate group operations under the tagline "One World Health Ind-Swift". Facilities are WHO-GMP certified with approvals from USFDA, MHRA (UK), Health Canada, TGA (Australia), and other regulatory bodies across 20+ jurisdictions.
