Responsibilities:
SAP Implementation & Transformation
- Lead SAP S/4HANA implementation under RISE with SAP for pharma formulation operations
- Drive requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, UAT, and go-live
- Enforce clean core principles and SAP best practices
- Coordinate with SAP, system integrators, and internal teams in a RISE model
Pharma Formulation Domain Ownership (Must-Have)
- Own SAP processes for pharma formulation manufacturing
- Handle batch-managed materials, shelf life, and expiry management
- Support quality processes, including in-process checks, release, and rejection
- Ensure compliance with GMP, audit, and regulatory requirements
- Enable end-to-end traceability from raw material to finished goods
Functional & Integration Ownership
- Lead and integrate SAP SD, MM, PP, and QM processes
- Ensure seamless integration with FI/CO
- Manage P2P, OTC, production, quality, and inventory processes
- Drive standardized templates and process harmonization
Business & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and finance teams
- Finalize requirements and obtain business sign-offs
- Resolve cross-functional process gaps and conflicts
- Conduct user training and support change management
Support & Continuous Improvement
- Support hypercare and post-go-live stabilization
- Identify root causes and drive permanent fixes
- Reduce recurring tickets through process and system improvements
Preferred Qualifications:
Qualification:
MCA/M Sc. IT/B Tech or equivalent
Experience
- 10–14 years total experience with 8+ years in SAP functional roles
- Mandatory experience in a pharma formulation environment
- At least one end-to-end SAP implementation (S/4HANA preferred)
- Exposure to RISE with SAP/cloud SAP landscapes
SAP Skills
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP SD, MM, PP, QM
- Strong understanding of batch management, QM integration, and PP processes
- Solid knowledge of FI/CO integration points
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA business process changes
- Familiarity with SAP CPI/integration concepts
Soft Skills
- Strong stakeholder communication and ownership mindset
- Ability to work independently in SAP-led delivery models
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior consultants
- Strong documentation and governance discipline
